This fine beer was introduced in 1994 to celebrate The Home Brewery’s first 10 years in business. This is an incredibly good ale. It’s really an India Pale Ale of the style the British shipped to their overseas troops 100 years ago. ANNIVERSARY ALE is malty and hoppy with a great oak finish. It needs to age 3 months in the bottle to be at its best.

Also called American Light in homebrew competitions; this is the style we are all familiar with. There are many commercial versions. This Kit honors the American brewing tradition of 100 years ago. In the 1880’s, German immigrants brewed beer like this locally all over the U.S. This is not "light" beer - this is good American beer the way it used to be.

This is the Dark version of our H-4 European Lager Kit. Many of the European breweries, especially in Germany, make some great Dark lagers. This beer style is known for its rich maltiness, with the great body and flavor of dark malt and grain. The color is very dark brown with a light tan creamy head. Mead was brewed by ancient Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Celts, Scandinavians, and Aztecs. From all reports, they liked it a lot - and so do we! Back in the Middle Ages, St. Bartholomew devoted a lifetime to meadmaking. When you enjoy this great Mead, remember to have one in honor of St. Bart.

Porter was a popular beer in early England. It is a black ale, but unlike Stout, it is not made with Roasted Barley. The modern interest in good beer has saved this fine style from extinction. Porter is black, rich, and malty with great flavor.

This HONEY BROWN ALE recipe was started by our own Greg Foreman. This is not a traditional beer at all - but it sure is good! It has a rich malty flavor enhanced by dark grains and honey. All this is balanced with a combination of good hops. Enjoyable!

This is a traditional German Helles Bock, amber in color, strong in alcohol with a very malty character. Hop bitterness is low, and offsets the sweetness of the malt. Bock beer is a strong all-malt Lager. It is traditionally brewed in monasteries near Munich.

This is a homebrewed version of draught Oregon Nut Brown Ale. Malty, with a nutty taste balanced by some amazing hops, it's one of our favorites.

Barleywine is the strongest possible beer style. There are no firm rules regarding what goes in a Barleywine, so long as there is a lot of it! This brew will be good two months after bottling, but for top quality, age it about a year. It’s worth the wait!
